Go on a sensory journey with Expressions Aromatiques

We are excited to be back at Fi Europe 2023, in Frankfurt, to showcase our latest flavouring solutions.

Flavour explosion

This year, our flavourists have developed a range of sophisticated flavour combinations inspired by the Viva Magenta concept, the colour of the year 2023. Combining boldness and natural, our different flavours are available in water-soluble and oil-soluble versions, and thus can be adapted to a wide range of food applications.

During the show, we are offering two of these creations in dark chocolate: Raspberry-Cranberry and Pink Grapefruit-Pink peppercorn. In order to transform your testing session into an exciting sensory journey, we have systematically combined a liquid flavour with an extruded flavour.

Indeed, both types of flavour complement one another. The liquid flavour has an intense taste, evenly distributed in the final application. The extruded flavour comes in the form of 1 mm particles, thus offering an explosion of flavours in the mouth every time you bite into one of the granules.

On the technical side, the water activity (aw) of our extruded flavours is inferior to 0.5. Therefore, they are perfectly suited for incorporation in chocolate and chocolate confectionery, but also for use in fat filling and chocolate filling for pastry applications.

Holistic health and veganism

It is clear that conventional agriculture will not sustainably and responsibly feed the 9 billion people who will inhabit the earth by 2050. As a consequence, for both ethical and ecological reasons, more and more consumers choose to follow a flexitarian, vegetarian or vegan diet.

While climate and animal welfare issues have become key concerns for consumers, taste and the search for pleasure remain major growth levers.

In order to offer innovative solutions that are perfectly adapted to this new market, we work with various players in the field of Sports Nutrition. This year in Frankfurt, we will be showcasing high-in-protein vegan bars with indulgent flavours: Brownie and Peanut-Chocolate.
